Royal Cruiser 34 was one of Storebro's most successful models with 800 units built and cemented the already excellent reputation of the Swedish shipyard. The quality and good taste of the boat was much superior to others of similar size and layout, perhaps because it was built at the insistence of a particular customer in a sartorial and accurate way. Einar Runius was responsible for the design of the hull, the design was entrusted instead to Winfried H. Wilke, anticipating by fifteen years the modern times that attribute the roles of hull and interior designers to real archistars. Originally, the hull was built exclusively in mahogany, but from 1969 the fiberglass hull that we also find on this special small boat came into production.
